The group that stayed at Josh's beautiful home on Arthur Ashe Boulevard in early May are high school friends from the class of '72. We were able to appreciate a free jazz concert at the VMFA right across the street and there are plenty of good restaurants closeby. The beds are comfortable and the linens are great. On street parking was no problem as there were always available spots nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. We will certainly consider staying here should we gather in Richmond again.

Great for large parties. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is a real bonus, in addition to the bathroom off the kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious; work spaces designed for computers are nice; close to grocery stores and eating establishments. Recommend.

Josh was an excellent and responsive host. The Stanhope house was clean, excellently furnished and decorated, and my stress was greatly relieved by just being in the space. Would absolutely stay again.

Our family was in town to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from VCU, and this home was the perfect place for our stay. The property felt brand new, and everything was exactly as pictured. Before our arrival, I had a few questions, and Josh was incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was very convenient to VCU and nearby restaurants, which made getting around easy. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms were a huge bonus — everyone slept very well. Check-in was simple with clear instructions, and having an assigned parking spot was such a rare and appreciated perk. The water and snacks left for us were such a thoughtful touch. Josh and his team were communicative throughout our stay and even checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. You can truly tell they care about being great hosts. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Josh for an amazing stay!

Our family visited Richmond to attend our daughter’s graduation at VCU. This home was spacious and accommodated us and our extended family in comfort. Josh was very communicative every step of the way. Every bedroom had its own bathroom which was very convenient. We enjoyed the welcome atmosphere and comfortable environment. We would definitely consider this lovely home the next time we visit Richmond. Thank you.

Josh and Jacob were absolutely wonderful hosts to us right from the very beginning. They were so friendly, responsive, accommodating, and incredibly helpful in making our stay such a pleasant and memorable experience. We were in town celebrating our daughter’s graduation as well as Mother’s Day with family, and their charming place made the occasion even more special. Their home is located in such a lovely neighborhood, and we especially loved how beautiful and welcoming the front of the house was. Everything in their home was very accessible, thoughtfully arranged, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated all of their kindness and hospitality throughout our visit. Thank you both again for helping create such wonderful memories for our family!

We had the perfect wedding weekend in RVA and loved how easy it was to stay at Josh’s. We didn’t have much interaction with him at all because we didn’t need him. His lovely home was exactly as described and fit every need we had. Comfy beds, nice, clean bathrooms, parking for two cars, great walkable neighborhood, awesome outdoor space in the back, and the weather was stunning! Thank you, Josh for preparing a space for us that required no effort on our part whatsoever. We just showed up and you had it all covered. That’s what you’re looking for on wedding weekend! 😊

Quite possibly one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. The home is cozy and inviting. The neighborhood is adorable and perfectly walkable. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

The upper floor apartment was ideal for our situation. We had 4 adults in town for an event at the convention center which is a 10 min drive and walkable if necessary. The apartment is light and bright and updated which allows for a very calming ambience. There was plenty of room for all and the kitchen allowed for one of our more culinary minded friends to prepare a feast for our group. Kroger is within walking distance as are many other cafes and shops. A great option if your need a Richmond base to explore the city.
