The Fan District is one of the most interesting areas in Richmond because of its unique architecture, restaurants, and local shops. Named for the fan-like layout of its streets, it runs westward from Belvedere Street, near Monroe Park, ending on the eastern side of the Boulevard. Predominantly a residential area, the Fan is a fun place to wander and admire the many styles of architecture from the mid-late 19th century, including Italianate, Queen Anne, Richardsonian Romanesque, and Colonial Revival. Homeowners in The Fan have entertainment at their fingertips with walkable parks, restaurants, and museums

There is free on-street parking. Our street is quiet with very little through traffic so finding a spot out front is never a problem. The Fan is very walkable with many restaurants, cafes, small businesses, and grocery stores (including Whole Foods) nearby. There is also one (1) off-street parking space behind the house accessible via the alley.
